2022 - Canadian Society for Civil Engineering - Horst Leipholz Medal: Prof. Patrick Paultre
The Horst Leipholz Medal is awarded annually to a member of the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering who has made an outstanding contribution to the research or practice of mechanical engineering in Canada.
2022 - Grand Prix d'excellence professionnelle de l'Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec: Prof. Patrick Paultre
This award is the highest distinction given by the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec and recognizes the exceptional career of an engineer.
2019 - Order of Canada Award: Prof Micheline Dumont
These awards highlight the invaluable contribution of Canadian women to the advancement of equality between men and women.
2019 - ACFAS Jacques-Rousseau Award: Prof. Roger Lecomte
Awarded to a researcher to highlight excellence and outreach in their work, having established innovative links between various disciplines, beyond their field of specialization.
2018 - Royal Society of Canada - Rutherford Memorial Medal in Physics: Prof Alexandre Blais
The Rutherford Memorial Medal is awarded each year by the Royal Society of Canada to honour eminent Canadian scientists, academics, and researchers in recognition of their remarkable achievements in advancing knowledge. Prof. Blais was awarded this high distinction for his groundbreaking ideas representing significant conceptual advances and inspiring a major portion of incredible experimental progress, which could potentially result in building a quantum computer.
2017 - Hector-Fabre Award: Prof. Michèle Vatz-Laaroussi
