Strategic Objectives

The university community and its partners engaged in 2017-2018 in a flexible and dynamic strategic thinking approach. More than 5000 people contributed to this large-scale collective project over many working sessions, thematic workshops, surveys, and departmental meetings.

Our 2018-2022 Strategic Plan is being implemented under four guidelines: 

• Enrich programs, training, and the academic experience
• Stimulate the development of research by focusing specifically on interdisciplinarity
• Develop the pride and commitment of the entire academic community
• Position the UdeS as a key contributor to our society

Through research, in order to implement these guidelines, we have identified unifying research themes and encouraged creating clusters of research of excellence.
