Supervising Research Students
For supervision practices to follow a certain culture specific to the UdeS and so that every student and professor can rely on a proven formula, we have created a guide covering good practices on supervising graduate research studies.
Fostering optimal relationships between students and research advisors
This guide fosters the establishment of an optimal relationship between the student and their research advisor. It contains fundamental information and resources for an efficient, simplified academic path.
To allow both students and research advisors to understand their respective expected roles, a guide for students was also created (in French).
Collaborative Work
As part of the work emerging from the working group on graduate research studies and thanks to a productive collaboration with the vice-deans, research and graduate studies, and with representatives of REMDUS, the Office of the Vice-President, Research and Graduate Studies, was able to develop both of these fundamental guides.
