This course will explore the benefits and challenges of online assessment. Starting from the principles of Authentic Assessment and Assessment for Learning, participants will examine areas such as creating open resource exams; addressing higher order thinking in complex task assessments; preparing students for online assessments; using multiple choice online assessments; and considering security and integrity in online assessment.
