Understand the foundations of learning assessment in vocational education within a competency-based approach. Situate assessment in its role of supporting learning and recognizing competencies. Develop a critical perspective on assessment practices and institutional standards and methods. Design relevant assessment tools aligned with official curricula and student needs. Engage in a reflective process of continuous improvement of one’s assessment practices.

Values, orientations, and guiding principles of assessment in a competency-based approach. Foundations, functions, and types of assessment. Standards, methods, and assessment policies in schools. Observation grids, self-assessment, co-assessment. Analysis of official documents (curricula, specifications). Bloom’s taxonomy and levels of complexity. Development of specifications and authentic assessment situations. Equity and adaptive measures in vocational education assessment. Ethics, bias, and feedback in assessment. Reflective portrait of assessment competencies
