Frédéric Beaulieu-Demers

Frédéric Beaulieu-Demers is a bachelor’s student in secondary education, specializing in humanities and social sciences, at the University of Sherbrooke. His journey has been marked by a commitment to the environment, community life, and student activism, particularly through projects such as gardening, a student thrift store, and a bicycle repair workshop. Passionate about geography, the outdoors, and environmental issues, he is interested in outdoor education as an approach to supporting learning, youth engagement, and students’ connection to their local area. Through CRÉPA, he hopes to explore the integration of experiential outdoor approaches into the humanities to develop students’ critical thinking and sense of civic identity.
