Abdelkrim Hasni

Abdelkrim Hasni is a full professor in science and technology didactics at the Faculty of Education of the Université de Sherbrooke. His research, funded on an ongoing basis by various recognized organizations (SSHRC, FRQ-SC, Ministère de l'Économie et de l'Innovation, Ministère de l'Éducation, etc. This research, funded on an ongoing basis by various recognized organizations (SSHRC, FRQ-SC, Ministère de l'Économie et de l'Innovation, Ministère de l'Éducation, etc.), focuses on the teaching and learning of science from elementary school to university, considering, among other things, the following main dimensions: the goals and contents of science teaching; teaching practices; the epistemology of science; socio-scientific controversies; non-disciplinary teaching approaches (interdisciplinarity, problem-based and project-based teaching); and learners' interest in science and technology.
