Geneviève Lessard
Geneviève Lessard is a professor in the Department of Special Education at the Université du Québec en Outaouais. Her current research focuses on the mechanisms by which educational difficulties are constructed and the levers for transforming them. Driven by a desire to recognize and value teachers and children/adolescents, she is interested in collaborative, child/adolescent-centered research methodologies. As part of the Enseignement et pratiques enseignantes à l'extérieur (Teaching and teaching practices outdoors) project, she is interested in the use of equipment in learning mathematics in an outdoor context.
