This course focuses on the cognitive nature of what is to be learned, how learning occurs, and the social, cultural and psychological factors in both the teacher and the student that influence learning.
Participants translate theory and research into pratical classroom applications. The course also examines the intellectual characteristics of the adolescent learner and the special needs of students with cognitive or academic difficulties.
