2026 - AlgoLab Summer School - Towards Fault Tolerant Quantum Computing

Institut quantique’s Quantum AlgoLab is organizing and hosting its second Summer School from June 7th to 19th, 2026. The two-week event will be held at Bishop’s University, located in Sherbrooke, Quebec.

This event will focus on teaching the principles and methods of fault-tolerant quantum computing. By the end of the school, students will have a solid understanding of the theoretical and practical foundations spanning quantum computation, quantum information and complexity, quantum algorithms, and quantum error handling. They will also be equipped to apply these concepts toward the design and analysis of scalable, error-resilient quantum systems. The summer school curriculum will be officially recognized by Université de Sherbrooke as a graduate course (3 credits).
