Research interests
- Clarify the role of Cu substitution by other 3d metals in electron-doped superconducting cuprates
- Study the anisotropic transport in (110) and (100) oriented PrCeCuO thin films as a function of doping, and correlate the results with the band structure observed by ARPES
- Study the tunneling effect in (110) and (100) oriented PrCeCuO thin films as a function of doping.
- Prepare thin films of YBa2Cu3O7 and similar materials on large-area substrates (on 75cm-diameter wafers) for collaboration with an industrial partner
- Develop procedures for reproducibly obtaining YBa2Cu3O7-based superconducting resonators for NMR detection.
