Overview
Professor Mathieu Juan, Deputy Director of the Institut quantique at Université de Sherbrooke, is organizing and hosting his first Advanced School from May 24 to June 5, 2026. This two-week event will take place at Espace 4 Saisons, located in Mont-Orford National Park in Québec.
The Quantum Technology Summer School, officially accredited by Université de Sherbrooke as a graduate-level course (3 credits), aims to provide a broad perspective covering quantum sensing, computing, and communication, as well as quantum materials. Workshops on project management, networking and entrepreneurship are also planned.
Prerequisites
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency, as well as general knowledge of quantum mechanics.
Summer school participation fee: $CAD 1,200 (incl. taxes). Includes registration fee, accomodation and meals, transport from Montreal airport to the venue.
