Intérêts de recherche

Mes intérêts de recherche se concentrent autour de la télédétection de la géologie, de la glace et des propriétés de la surface de la Lune, de Mars, d’astéroides et de la région arctique terrestre. J'utilise principalement la télédétection multispectrale, hyperspectrale et LiDAR ainsi que divers procédés (transfert radiatif, analyse en ondelettes) pour caractériser ces surfaces dans le but de mieux comprendre la formation et l'évolution de notre système solaire et de préparer les prochaines missions d'exploration terrestres et spatiales.

  • Invited researcher. (2014). États-Unis. Membre du Lunar Exploration Analysis Group (LEAG) Volatile Specific Action Team (VSAT). Le groupe VSAT avait pour mandat d'identifier des sites d'alunissage où la NASA et des partenaires internationaux/commerciaux pourraient travailler en collaboration et opérer sur la surface lunaire de manière à améliorer les connaissances actuelles en ce qui a trait à la taille, la distribution et la forme des dépôts de glace et/ou autres substances volatiles, ainsi qu'a définir les ressources potentielles en eau et autres substances volatiles. De plus, le groupe VSAT avait également pour mandat d'identifier les incertitudes reliées aux sites d'alunissage proposés, en plus de proposer de futures missions qui pourraient aider à diminuer ces incertitudes. Cette activité a donné lieu à la rédaction d'un rapport remis aux dirigeants concernés de la NASA.
