Activités de collaboration internationale

  • Co-Leader / Co-direction. Canada. Global Argon Dark Matter Collaboration (GADMC) This collaboration includes over 400 researchers from 14 countries, to carry out a series of dark matter experiments in a phased approach. The Canadian Research Team are making significant contributions to the GADMC and are recognized as world-leaders in particle physics research. The Université de Sherbrooke Team designs the photodetectors and my team is designing the real time intelligent data acquisition system for these photodetectors.
  • Holder - Porteuse. France. France-Canada Collaboration for real-time cybersecurity threat detection. The Université de Bretagne Occidentale and the Université de Sherbrooke are working to combine trust standards and intrusion detection within edge adjacent nodes to protect devices at the edge, in particular internet of things devices. I am the holder of the FRQNT funds for the Canadian team and my scientific contribution pertains to integrating the AI algorithms in edge compatible hardware.
  • Co-researcher / Co-chercheure. United States of America. Los Alamos National Loboratory Dr. Zhehui Wang Dr. Wang contacted me to develop a readout circuit and firmware for his billion-pixel camera project. Work is ongoing and planned over the next five years.
  • Co-Researcher / Co-chercheure. United States of America. SLAC National Accelerator LaboratoryRyan Coffee et al. Follows a collaboration started during a postdoctoral position at SLAC. Development of an x-ray detector. Dr Coffee and his team design and build the detector itself while I develop the readout circuit and firmware.
  • Stagiaire doctorale. Switzerland. European Council for Nuclear Research (CERN) Dr Paul Lecoq et al. Invited by Dr Paul Lecoq for a 4 month internship at CERN. During this internship and the following year, I developed a novel energy discrimination method for positron emission tomography. I collaborated with Dr Lecoq and his team to modify the simulation software and develop this method, which led to a publication and first place in the 2016 IEEE NSS-MIC student paper competition (poster).
