David Gelfand

Membre du Vic Vogel Big Band depuis 1981, David est recherché comme accompagnateur et bien apprécié pour sa polyvalence et son enthousiasme. Il a accompagné, entres autres, Dizzy Gillespie, Archie Shepp, Barry Harris, Chucho Valdes, James Moody, Eddie Cleanhead Vinson, Mel Tormé, Zoot Sims, Phil Woods, Freddie Hubbard, Frank Wess, Don Alias, Oliver Jones, Nelson Symonds, Sonny Greenwich, Sylvain Provost, le Montreal Gospel Jubilation Choir, Ranee Lee, Céline Dion, Johanne Blouin, Jean Lapointe, Alys Roby, Kevin Parent, Roch Voisine, Gerry Boulet, Fernand Gignac, Nanette Workman, Térèz Montcalm, Dorothée Berryman. Il est chargé de cours à l'Université de Sherbrooke depuis 2004 et à Bishop's depuis 2002.
