Research Axes
CRASH-UdeS research is part of the Université de Sherbrooke unifying research topics, by studying innovative materials/processes. In the case of CRASH-UdeS, and as its name indicates, this research is centered around three major themes: acoustics, signals and humans.
A strong interdisciplinarity around these major themes allows the emergence of several research axes:
- Aeroacoustics
- Acoustic materials: study and design
- Auditory system study
- Musical acoustics
- Noise control
- Structural health monitoring
- Sound arts
- Sound quality
- Spatial sound synthesis
- Speech transmission/processing
- Ultrasonic medical imaging
- Ultrasound study
- Vibration control
