Tuition Fee Exemptions

Owing to their particular status or to cooperation agreements in effect between the Government of Quebec and several countries, some students may be exempt from additional tuition fees charged to international students and pay the same tuition fees as Quebec students.

This support is limited to a certain number of citizens from countries that have signed tuition fees agreements with Quebec and is valid for the normal duration of a study program in a Quebec university.

French Nationality Students

All students with a valid French passport and a visitor’s visa consistent with immigration regulations and who are registered, according to applying regulations, to a Quebec university are subject to the public tuition fees system applicable to Quebec students.
