Quantum microwave devices based on Josephson photonics, i.e. the interaction between microwave photons and inelastic Cooper pair tunneling through a Josephson junction.
Josephson photonics allows us to implement microwave quantum devices powered by a simple DC voltage, i.e. they require minimal hardware overhead. I am interested in the potential of Josephson photonics for different tasks such as the generation of microwave quantum states, quantum limited amplification and detection of single microwave photons.
