Main interests
Dr. LeBlanc is an Assistant Professor in the Microbiology and Infectiology Department at the Université de Sherbrooke. She has been practising since January 2008 and supervises residents in the infectious diseases program. She is very involved in teaching students at different levels, but especially senior microbiology residents. She is particularly interested in the management and quality control system of the microbiology laboratory.
Clinically, Dr. LeBlanc has a special interest in HIV as well as international/immigrant health and tropical diseases.
She is currently working on a development program for the treatment of HIV, tuberculosis and malaria in Rwanda with the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland.
