Dr. Dion is an Assistant Professor and clinical teacher in the Department of Microbiology and Infectiology at the Université de Sherbrooke. She started practising in 1992. She is interested in the ambulatory antibiotic treatment program for which she is the medical coordinator at the CHUS.

Her other field of interest is the prevention of nosocomial infections, in which she is involved at various levels:

• Chair of the infection surveillance and prevention committee at the CHUS.
• Medical coordinator of the infection prevention team at the CHUS.
• Chair of the infection prevention committee at the Memphremagog CSSS.
• Involvement in infection prevention at the Granit CSSS.
• Co-Chair of the Eastern Townships regional nosocomial infection prevention committee.

For the past few years, she has also been involved in continuing medical education and is Co-Chair of the Continuing Professional Development Committee of the Association des médecins microbiologistes et infectiologues du Québec (AMMIQ).
