Mission

The mission of the CIBC Research Chair in Financial Integrity is to stimulate research on financial crime, more particularly, to determine the means for preventing this scourge through the development of a culture of integrity in businesses.

It presupposes a better understanding of the organizational adjustments that could be required in terms of governance practices and structures, in order to foster and ensure greater financial integrity among organizations. 

In this regard, the Chair's mission will necessarily yield the means for preventing financial crime that could be anchored in governance structures and ethical leadership on the part of management.
