An auxiliary channel attack (ACA) is a hacking technique in which an adversary records a signal from a computer performing a cryptographic task. This signal can then be used to infer sensitive information about the cryptographic protocol being executed.
The project implemented and characterized quantum reservoirs (QRs) using three distinct approaches to make a classification of power consumption signals from a computer that uses a secret key for encryption of a message.
The project also delivered a scientific report to Thales on quantum computing using QR.
