Séminaire du département de physique: diversité en physique

Sophie Rochette, Sara Turcotte et Chloé-Aminata Gauvin-Ndiaye Diversité en physique Résumé: In the first part of our talk, we will briefly present and discuss the results of the diversity survey that was sent to the members of the department. Our aim is to encourage you to participate to the discussion by offering your takes on the survey results. You will also be invited to share your suggestions for the Diversity committee’s roles and future actions. The conversation will be complemented by Myriam Guindon, research professional at the Chair for Women in Science and Engineering of Université de Sherbrooke, and Nadia Octave, medical physicist and president of the Women committee of the Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists (COMP). The second part of the talk will be a presentation by Nadia Octave on the initiatives taken by the COMP regarding diversity issues, and on some concrete actions that can be taken in our workplace.
