I am interested in the factors controlling terrestrial C and N cycling, in plant nutrition, in the activity and diversity of soil microbial communities, in rhizosphere dynamics and mycorrhizae, and in forest disturbance and succession.

We are also preparing a new project on the interactions between geological deposit and climate change in controlling the productivity of various forest species.
