Intérêts de recherche

Mes intérêts de recherche sont reliés à la découverte de nouveaux matériaux synthétisés par des technologies mises au point et brevetées au laboratoire des plasmas de l'Université de Sherbrooke. Ces technologies sont les plasmas inductifs thermiques, la technologie de projection des suspensions qui apporte beaucoup de flexibilité pour la synthèse des matériaux. Mes domaines de recherche sont les revêtements de barrières thermiques et environnementales pour les turbines d'avion, les matériaux en contact avec les métaux liquides, la catalyse, les bio-matériaux, les piles à combustibles de type à oxyde solide et les matériaux de type revêtements pour des applications avancées des propriétés des céramiques. Souvent du fait des défis en jeux, des nouveaux procédés peuvent être créés comme par exemple le développement d'un réacteur plasma très versatile pour la synthèse e structures variées de carbone ou encore le développement d'une torche à plasma à haute performance.
