This microprogram’s courses are based on complex professional situations commonly encountered in teaching. They take into account the needs of new teachers and facilitate their professional integration. The program is built around three groups of occupational situations: classroom planning, teaching and learning and evaluation. Time is set aside for pedagogical content knowledge issues that take into account the responsibilities of college teachers. Moreover, courses are offered in seminar or tutoring formats to encourage reflection, that is, to provide students with an opportunity to step back from and reflect on practice and the acquisition of knowledge.
