Admission to Performa Programs

Even though Performa programs lead to a certificate or diploma awarded by the Université de Sherbrooke, their admission rules and requirements differ slightly from those of the university’s other programs.

Special Admission Requirements

In addition to the Université de Sherbrooke’s general admission requirements, candidates applying to a Performa program must hold a teaching position in one of the Performa Network’s member-colleges. They must submit a letter from their employer certifying their employment status.

Before submitting their application, candidates must contact their college’s local representative for guidance on their choice of program and admission trimester.

Local representatives have the immediate responsibility for managing their college’s Performa programs and providing teachers pursuing professional development with support.

Candidates can apply either online or on paper. The paper application and all other required documents must be sent to the local representative who shall be responsible for transmitting them to Performa.

  • When applying online for admission to a Performa program, candidates must identify the college in which they are employed.
  • An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to online applicants. This email message will remind them of the need to send all required documents to the registrar to allow for the processing of their application. Unlike the paper process, only official documents, such as transcripts, can be submitted.

Files are studied only after all relevant documents have been received. The local representative is responsible for supplying the necessary forms.

Address all of your questions to your college’s local Performa representative.
