Celebrating quantum science and technology
On June 7, 2024, the United Nations proclaimed 2025 as the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology. IQ has therefore put together a calendar of activities to celebrate 100 years since the foundations of quantum mechanics were laid.
According to the UN proclamation, the aim is to raise public awareness of the importance of quantum science and applications. As such, a number of activities are aimed at the general public, whether or not you are initiated into quantum mechanics!
Quantum science has the potential to bring about major changes, so there's no better time to start taking an interest.
