Diploma in Health Informatics

Potential Candidates

This diploma is designed for professionals in the fields of health or computer-system development who are interested in computerization of the health-care sector.

Description

The speed at which technology changes, particularly in the health-care sector, requires today's and tomorrow's health professionals to acquire new skills and knowledge. These skills apply to management, quality assurance, and support in short-, medium-, and long-term decision-making.

The postgraduate diploma in health informatics—the only one of its kind in French in North America—enables students to develop a standardized approach and appropriate information management in support of clinical decisions in various care contexts and to serve as the interface between health-care professionals and those managing computer networks.
