International students enrolled in a student exchange at the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

To do now: activate your Usherbrooke.ca e-mail address

In Quebec, students normally take 5 courses (or a number of courses equivalent to 15 credits) per semester. A registration period is scheduled for each semester, that is:

  • late June – early July for the fall semester
  • mid November for the winter semester
  • late March – early April for the summer semester

To choose your courses and register:

  • click on “Baccalauréats” (Bachelors) in the left menu
  • choose the Bachelor’s program you are here to study
  • click on “Horaire des activités pédagogiques” (course schedule)
  • choose your courses among those that are offered in the schedule

If you want to register for a French, English or Spanish language course, you need to complete the related placement test  in order to choose a course that is appropriate to your level.

You are encouraged to read the information on course selection which, despite being addressed to regular students, may give you useful details (deadlines to send your file, placement tests to complete if required, etc.)

Please download the registration form, indicate your course selection, sign it, and send it back in one of the following ways:

  1. In person: room A4-159 of the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences
  2. By e-mail to your department’s registration clerk via your USherbrooke.ca address (required, as this address acts as a signature on your part).
