Adapted Environments and Insomnia in People with Cognitive Disorders

We believe that the integration of an automated assistance system at home could help people who are wandering at night. This system consists of sensors that recognize the presence of wandering behaviors as well as different stimuli (music, video, light panel etc.) that help the person to identify and meet their needs, promote calm and eventual return to bed. Our goal is to implement and evaluate such a home-based system to help maintain the autonomy of the person with cognitive impairment in their living environment.

Inclusion criteria:

We are looking for couples where one spouse has wandering behaviors during the night. It can also be a parent-child couple (for example).

Implication:

The project is carried out at home over a period of 5 weeks.
