Mr. Mohamed El-Gahouchi is a PhD student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Sherbrooke, where he works with Prof. Abderraouf Boucherif and Pr Richard Arès, on the design and fabrication of state-of-the-art semiconductor structures for heat recovery, green energy at high ultrasound concentrations. He recently attended the Semiconductor Science and Technology Conference of Canada (CSSTC 2019), which was held from July 28, 2019 to August 1, 2019 at the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon, SK, Canada). ). His research poster titled "Duplicated GaAs Solar Cells Operating at Ultra-High Concentrations" was selected as one of the best presentations. The results of his research, which will be published shortly, are of great importance for the production of green energy in areas of the world where solar radiation received per unit area is low.
