Professor Loignon completed a bachelor’s degree in political sciences in 1993, followed by a master’s in sociology in 1996 at l’Université de Montréal. She also earned a PhD in public health in 2006. Following Thereafter, Professor Loignon completed postdoctoral work at McGill University and l’Université de Sherbrooke on access to care. She is Assistant Professor at the Department of Family Medicine, Université de Sherbrooke. Her research interests include poverty, equity in health care and innovative professional practices.
