Knowledge Transfer Toolkit (Guide)

You will find in this section our Occupational Health and Safety Knowledge Transfer Toolkit (guide). This document was produced by the Dynamic Knowledge Transfer Research Laboratory, with the financial support of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the “Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et sécurité du travail (IRSST)” and the SafetyNet Centre for Occupational Health and Safety research at Memorial University.

It was written by Lysanne Raymond, in collaboration with Robert Parent, Lise Desmarais and Louise Leclerc.

It is designed for people concerned about Knowledge Transfer (KT) and Occupational Health Safety (OHS). It contains:

  • An overview of new OHS issues, including the need for more attention to KT;
  • Explanations of the main challenges associated with successfully applying KT to improving OHS;
  • A three-step process for successful knowledge transfer.
