Main course objectives:

Defining, identifying and determining responsible conduct of research; discussing and deciding, conducting a critical analysis (informed decision); arguing and justifying choices; developing and writing a protocol to submit to a research ethics committee; participating in the discussion on good research practices and promoting an overall ethical culture.

Contenu

Main elements of competence:

Defining the values that guide responsible conduct of research; identifying and determining potential ethical problems in research such as conflicts of interest, funding, partnerships, etc.; discussing and deciding while justifying choices; meeting the requirements of research ethics committees and public subsidizing agencies; developing an understanding of ethics; integrating the main research ethics requirements with research involving human participants; engaging in dialogue; implementing a reflective spirit on research practices; addressing the role of emotions; consolidating a reflective and autonomous professional practice.
