The Faculty of Science of the Université de Sherbrooke propels young scientists into a world of experiment, research and noteworthy discovery in which knowledge and know-how make a perfect match.

The five departments of the Faculty of Science, i.e. the Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics Departments, offer training programs in which touching, experimenting, questioning, analyzing and reflecting are intimately bound to learning. Exciting projects, staff availability and cutting-edge technological facilities quickly lead to an independence that is conducive of the finest discoveries. Most of the programs are offered under the co-op system. In this method of training, students acquire practical experience in the workplace that is related to what they have learned at the university, thereby integrating basic knowledge and practical skills along with the requirements of a profession. What better way to understand theory than to apply it in real contexts?
