Ce programme permet de développer des compétences linguistiques spécialisées en langue anglaise. On y étudie la traduction, la littérature d’expression anglaise, l’apprentissage des langues, la rédaction et la communication. Les outils informatiques et les ressources multimédia sont au coeur de l’apprentissage.

Grâce aux compétences acquises, les diplômées et diplômés ont d’excellentes perspectives d’emploi au Québec, au Canada et à l’étranger. Le programme est offert en régime régulier et en régime coopératif.

This program is designed to develop specialized English-language skills suited to professional and intercultural contexts. Students become familiar with an interdisciplinary approach to literary and cultural studies and to the study of translation, language learning, communication and professional writing. Students use technological tools and multimedia resources essential and complementary to research and professional applications of English. Compulsory courses are taught in English; students may choose to take a number of optional courses in French. The BA is offered both in the regular and the co-operative systems.

Most students complete the program in three years, but length of study may vary for students in the co-operative system, for students coming from other universities, or for students coming directly from high schools outside Quebec.
